Should You Use Dirty Pick Up Lines?
As someone who has been in the dating arena for some time, you've probably seen it all (I know I feel as though I have): from cute, and cheesy to corny and just plain crazy, there seems to be no end to the amount of pick up lines you can find. But there may be one type that you've not thought of and that is dirty pick up lines.
Dirty pick up lines, like crazy or corny lines, are designed to surprise and shock. But have you considered whether or not you should use these type of lines?
You might be wondering why I'm asking this question. After all, dirty pick up lines are obviously used with success or there would not be countless sites the list hundreds of them. In a case like this, you need to think about whether or not you would feel comfortable using them, or comfortable being on the receiving end of them.
Let me give you some examples of dirty pick up lines: "There are 206 bones in the human body… do you want another one?" or "What’s a nice girl like you doing in a dirty mind like mine?" or even "Is you father a lumberjack [No, why?] Because when ever I look at you, I get wood in my pants." And one more for good measure: "Santa's lap isn't the only place wishes come true."
The point here is, with dirty pick up lines, unlike the other types you could use, you need to be very careful about when, where and on whom you use these lines. The reason for this, of course, is because they can very easily offend the person they are intended for and you could find yourself turned down, slapped or even arrested for harassment.
The key here is to pick where and when you use dirty pick up lines. You wouldn't want to use them in a posh club, but you MIGHT get away with it in a local bar, where people know you as a regular. Of course you will have to see that the person you want to use them on is receptive or at least be sure that they won't be too offended.
Remember, the idea here is shock and awe, and hopefully convey the fact that you are not serious but just want to get their attention. Dirty pick up lines can work but you need to be aware of what is around you and whether or not the atmosphere is conducive to using these types of lines.
Ultimately, the choice to use dirty pick up lines is yours, but just realize that there are other ways to go about getting a date and consider the fact that if dirty pick up lines do work, you're probably not going to have a long term relationship with the guy or girl that they work on.
