There is much on the Internet and print that tells single people how to find, use and be successful with pick up lines. The problem is, almost all of these works and websites focus on pick up lines that are for guys to use on girls. There are very few that focus on girl pick up lines. Why is that?

I believe that boys are still more apt to just walk up to a girl they don't know and start a conversation. Although this is less prevalent now, with more girls being more confident and outgoing, still the majority or material is meant for guys to meet girls. A key question here is are there good girl pick up lines that can be used and how should you use them?

There are also less girl pick up lines to find online, so girls will really have to look for good ones to use. That being said, even if a line is funny or just plain crazy, it will fall flat if the confidence isn't behind it. Confidence, when it comes to any pick up line is the first thing that anyone should develop.

They are also not long and drawn out. Instead, they are short and to the point, designed to surprise the person you use them on.

Obviously, you want to make sure that the girl pick up lines you use are designed with the person in mind. For instance, you wouldn't want to use a line meant for a jock, on someone who is into the Goth scene. Similarly, you wouldn't want to use a line that is racy on someone who is in a suit.

This brings to mind another thing to think about when considering which girl pick up lines to use. Not only do you want to be confident when you do use them, you also want to make sure you are energetic. If you try any lines out and sound like you're bored or tired, then the line will not work and you won't get the result you want, so be energetic and interested.

Using girl pick up lines needn't be difficult or time consuming if you keep the above points in mind and remember that there are many potential partners out there. Remember, be confident, be energetic and be observant. Above all, be true to yourself and don't try to be something you're not.
